ARTIST BIO.

Bryan Gower was born in Berkley MI., a small city in the Metro Detroit Area. Gowers eye grabbing canvases vividly display nostalgic images from his past as he remembers them now and characters that portray abstract visions of oneself and others. Drawing inspiration from life experiences, Music, Films, Skateboarding & More. His subjects are never shy from hardships and violence to celebrations. Entangled amongst all these elements is a lyrical, yet warped vision. His works incorporate eerie landscapes, imaginary characters and contemporary portraits blended in with everyday life struggles in a contradictive manner. The conscious influence and in depth knowledge of one’s self is ever present. Bryan Gower has been painting from his home since 2020.
