Bryan Gower was born in Berkley MI., a small city in the Metro Detroit Area. Gowers eye grabbing canvases vividly display nostalgic images from his past as he remembers them now. Drawing inspiration from life experiences, Music, Films, Skateboarding & More. His subjects never shy from hardships and violence to celebrated events. Entangled amongst all these elements is a lyrical, yet warped vision. His works incorporate eerie landscapes w/ imaginary characters, road trips, current events and everyday life struggles in a contradictive manner. The conscious influence and in depth knowledge of one’s self is ever present. Bryan Gower has been painting from his home since 2020. Selected most recent exhibitions include: (2022) Artopia (Pontiac, MI.), (2023) The Art Experience (Pontiac, MI.) and a SOLO Exhibition at The Irwin House Gallery (Detroit, MI.)
